As temperatures rise, consider spending a day inside at The Woodlands' newest movie theater opening this week! The theater at 9595 Six Pines Drive features five screens and will provide guests with food and beverage service, as well as privacy pods and blankets. It's one of the only establishments in the area that has both Dolby sound systems and laser projection technology.

The theater's food selection includes various snacks and entrees, such as Kobe Beef Bulgogi, Wagyu Meatballs, and Crispy Burrata Bites. Its cocktail program features drinks inspired by classic movies, such as The Godfather Old Fashioned and the Casablanca Martini. They also serve beer and over ten wines, all available by the glass.

Reel Luxury Cinemas is the creation of Culinary Khancepts, a hospitality group that's based in Houston. Their firm is behind establishments such as Star Cinema Grill, Liberty Kitchen, and State Fare Kitchen & Bar.

For matinee screenings, adult tickets are $19 and $13 for children 10 and younger. Seniors and students get in for $15. On Tuesdays, the theater offers $6 special tickets. Add $3.50 for 3D movies and add $1.00 for high-demand titles. Tax is already included. Special events, such as live-streaming programs, may be priced higher than regular ticket prices.

For maximum audience enjoyment, guests under the age of two are only permitted to attend Bright Stars presentations and guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for entirety of visit. Guests must also be 2 years of age to attend PG and lower screenings and 3 years of age and above to attend PG-13 screenings. 

In a press release, Omar Khan, president and CEO of Culinary Khancepts, stated, “Our goal with Reel Luxury Cinemas was to craft a more boutique-style theater where we could really elevate the culinary and beverage experience."
